Cryolipolysis

Cryolipolysis applies controlled cold to the skin to target fat cells (adipocytes), which are more sensitive to cold than other tissues. Their membrane is weakened, they gradually disappear and the fat is cleared naturally, without surgery.

Areas treated

How it works

An applicator is placed on the area to be treated. The skin is first warmed, then cooled in a controlled way for the duration of the session.

Fat cells are cleared gradually: results are assessed over several weeks.

Indications

  • Localised abdominal fat
  • Thighs and inner thighs
  • Inner knees
  • Backs of the arms
  • Back folds
  • Double chin

Good to know

  • Non-invasive: no surgery, no anaesthesia.
  • It treats localised fat, not overall excess weight: hence the value of the preliminary check-up.
  • The cold feels intense at first, then fades.

Frequently asked questions

When are cryolipolysis results visible?

Fat cells are cleared gradually by the body: results are assessed over several weeks after the session.

Does cryolipolysis make you lose weight?

No, it reduces stubborn localised fat without affecting overall weight. In case of excess weight, the medical check-up addresses the causes first.
